HOW TO PLAN AN INEXPENSIVE WEDDING pt1

06/11/2010

How to plan an inexpensive wedding depends on what goals you are looking to accomplish on your wedding day. The first step is to create a budget, then after you create a budget you should take 25% off as (Emergency) fund. This will help you make sure you stay under budget.

Select flowers that are in season. Please don’t use fake flowers it is very tacky. People will talk.

Don’t have cheap food. Try to shorten the menu and select only foods that are cheaper to purchase. Don’t do seafood or steak if it isn’t in your budget. Plus, this is your event not a sit down dinner for the holidays.

Select a dress from the yard sale or sales rack. If you feel beautiful you will feel beautiful in any dress, not matter if its worth $300 or $5000. Plus, after your wedding its going into the closet. PS. Your daughter may not have your same style so don’t save it for her.

Pay attention to detail doesnt cost a lot. I have a few items that I will not go cheap on,,,,, The vacation, the rings, the hotel, the cake. Everything else you can start counting pennies.
